We are looking for writers interested in publishing niche books for audience interested in space colonization, agriculture, technology, and homesteading. Although we do not have any immediate plans (or budget) to launch a new book packaging project, the more contacts we have from interested writers, the better position we will be in to get production capital to edit, publish, and market them. This may be an opportunity to get a book professionally published that might not make it in a mainstream publishing house.

Core interest areas for Anansi Spaceworks Press include:

• Space technology and science education and reference
• Space agriculture, biospherics, and long duration life support
• In Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU -- tech-speak for "living off the land")
• Open hardware development process and tools (especially free software tools)
• Amateur and independent space flight: history, technology, and reference
• Scaling-down fundamental technologies for space living (i.e. homesteading technologies)

• Your name and past writing experience (a collection of links to material you have written, or a sample of published work will do). If you have no previously published work, then we'll want to see a sample chapter from the proposed book
  
• A brief description of your idea in one to five paragraphs ("concise but complete")
  
• An outline of the chapters you expect to include in the book, with brief descriptions
• Your own personal reasons for wanting to write the book, the expected audience, and why you think the book needs to be published

• Previously published writing references or samples
• Interest and skill areas (e.g. "technical documentation", "space history", etc)
