Part of the plan for Anansi Spaceworks Press is to maintain a highly engaging and graphical style, with roots in technical illustration, manga character art, and other elements designed to bring high-tech space concepts down-to-earth. To this end, we need to find artists who are willing to tackle this challenge.

We are particularly interested in:

• Good technical illustration skills
• Experience with "manga-style" character art and/or comic art (the important thing is good characterization, consistency, and expressiveness -- there is no need to ape any particular style)
• Black-and-white line illustration skills
• 3-D modeling and animation experience
• Ability to take direction and work with writer and publisher in a professional manner
  
• Ability to work with vector graphics in SVG format as well as digital inking and coloring
• We work exclusively with free software publication tools, and primarily through the internet, so electronic submission in open file formats will be essential
